Mazkur tadqiqot axborot texnologiyalari va ijtimoiy tarmoqlarning jadal rivojlanishi natijasida yuzaga kelayotgan dolzarb ijtimoiy-huquqiy muammo – ijtimoiy tarmoqlardagi kiberbulling (kiberzoʻravonlik) holatlari, ularni tartibga solish hamda javobgarlik mexanizmlarini oʻrganishga qaratilgan. Tadqiqot davomida qiyosiy-huquqiy tahlil, milliy qonunchilik va xalqaro hujjatlar tahlili hamda milliy va xorijiy qonunchilik (Yevropa) tajribalarini oʻrganish metodlaridan foydalanilgan. Shuningdek, ijtimoiy tarmoq foydalanuvchilarining kiberbulling tushunchasi va ushbu qilmish uchun javobgarlik choralari haqidagi xabardorlik darajasini aniqlash maqsadida sotsiologik soʻrovnoma oʻtkazildi. Tahlillar shuni koʻrsatadiki, Oʻzbekiston Respublikasining amaldagi qonunchiligida onlayn huquqbuzarliklar asosan anʼanaviy tuhmat, haqorat va shaxsiy daxlsizlikni buzish normalari doirasida baholanadi. Maqola yakunida kiberzoʻravonlikka qarshi kurashish samaradorligini oshirish maqsadida qonunchilikka maxsus normalarni kiritish, jabrlanuvchilarni huquqiy himoya qilish tizimini takomillashtirish hamda aholining huquqiy ongi va madaniyatini yuksaltirish boʻyicha ilmiy-amaliy taklif va tavsiyalar ilgari surilgan.
