Maqolada axborot-kommunikatsiya texnologiyalari orqali sodir etilayotgan raqamli o‘g‘rilik jinoyatlarini isbotlash, jinoyatchi shaxsini identifikatsiya qilish hamda elektron dalillarni to‘plash jarayonida yuzaga kelayotgan dolzarb muammolar tahlil qilingan. Raqamli jinoyatlarning o‘ziga xos jihatlari – masofaviylik, anonimlik va transchegaraviylik – tergov va sud amaliyotida jiddiy qiyinchiliklarni keltirib chiqarayotgani asoslab berilgan. Tadqiqot davomida milliy qonunchilikda kiberjinoyatlarga oid tushunchalarning yetarlicha aniq emasligi, elektron dalillarni yig‘ish va baholash tartibining bir xil emasligi hamda yagona sud amaliyoti shakllanmagani aniqlangan. Maqolada xalqaro huquqiy hujjatlar, milliy islohotlar va kadrlar tayyorlash tizimini takomillashtirish orqali mavjud muammolarni bartaraf etish zarurati asoslangan. Shu bilan birga, raqamli o‘g‘rilik jinoyatlarida ishtirokchilik institutini keng qo‘llash orqali barcha ishtirokchilarga to‘liq huquqiy baho berish muhimligi ilmiy jihatdan yoritib berilgan.
