Mazkur maqolada atrof-muhitni muhofaza qilish sohasida nodavlat notijorat tashkilotlarining (NNT) o‘rni va faoliyati O‘zbekiston hamda Xitoy tajribasi misolida qiyosiy-huquqiy jihatdan tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqotda ekologik NNTlar faoliyatining huquqiy asoslari, ularning ekologik muammolarni hal etish, jamoatchilik ekologik nazoratini amalga oshirish va fuqarolarning ekologik manfaatlarini himoya qilishdagi ishtiroki o‘rganilgan. Xalqaro shartnomalar, O‘zbekiston va Xitoy milliy qonunchiligi, statistik ma’lumotlar, so‘rovnoma natijalari hamda mahalliy va xorijiy NNTlar faoliyati qiyosiy tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot natijasida ekologik NNTlar faoliyatini rivojlantirishga to‘sqinlik qilayotgan ayrim huquqiy va tashkiliy muammolar aniqlanib, ularning faoliyatini qo‘llab-quvvatlash, mustaqilligi kafolatlarini mustahkamlash hamda atrof-muhitni muhofaza qilishda jamoatchilik ishtiroki samaradorligini oshirishga qaratilgan ilmiy-amaliy takliflar ishlab chiqilgan.
