Maqolada O‘zbekiston Respublikasining Jahon Savdo Tashkilotiga a’zo bo‘lish jarayonida turizm sohasiga oid milliy qonunchilikni Xizmatlar savdosi bo‘yicha bosh kelishuv (GATS) talablariga moslashtirish bilan bog‘liq dolzarb masalalar tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqotning asosiy maqsadi turizm xizmatlari bozorini bosqichma-bosqich liberallashtirish, litsenziyalash hamda sertifikatlash tartib-taomillarini soddalashtirish zaruratini ilmiy jihatdan asoslashdan iborat. Tadqiqot jarayonida qiyosiy-huquqiy, normativ-huquqiy va tahliliy metodlardan foydalanilgan. Olingan natijalar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, xalqaro standartlarga mos huquqiy bazani shakllantirish turizm sohasining raqobatbardoshligini oshiradi. Tadqiqot xulosalari turizm siyosatini takomillashtirish va GATS majburiyatlarini milliy qonunchilikka joriy etishda amaliy ahamiyatga ega.
