Maqola biotexnologiya sohasida ishlab chiqarish sirlari (nou-xau)ning nazariy-huquqiy tahlilini amalga oshirishga qaratilgan. Nou-xau biotexnologik ishlab chiqarish uchun zarur bo‘lgan amaliy bilim, texnik tajriba va ko‘nikmalarni o‘z ichiga oladi, ammo ularning huquqiy tartibga solinishi turli yurisdiksiyalarda sezilarli darajada farqlanadi. Tadqiqot qiyosiy-huquqiy tahlil, doktrinal-tahlil va amaliy holatlarni o‘rganish usullarini qo‘llab, turli davlatlardagi nou-xau himoyasi tizimlarini baholaydi. Tadqiqotga ko‘ra, anglo-sakson huquq tizimlarida nou-xau kengroq tijorat sirlari doirasida himoyalansa, Rossiya Federatsiyasi uni alohida intellektual mulk instituti sifatida ko‘rib chiqadi. Maqolada O‘zbekistonning joriy qonunchiligi nou-xauni tijorat sirlari himoyasi doirasiga kiritgan holda, biotexnologiyaga xos ishlab chiqarish sirlarini tartibga solish, ayniqsa, raqamli ma’lumotlar himoyasi, ixtisoslashgan texnik sohalarda xodimlar harakatchanligi va murakkab biotexnologik jarayonlarga mos keladigan samarali huquqiy himoya mexanizmlarini joriy etish zarurligi ta’kidlangan.
