THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES: ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE LEGISLATION OF THE USA, THE EUROPEAN UNION, AND UZBEKISTAN

The article examines the legal framework for the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into renewable energy sources using the example of the USA, the European Union, and Uzbekistan. In the course of the research, the works of foreign scientists, specialists, and researchers devoted to the role of artificial intelligence in energy systems, its positive and negative aspects, as well as the solutions proposed by them, were analyzed. Current international standards, including the European Artificial Intelligence Law, NIST principles, and other regulatory documents, were compared. The regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of regulation of renewable energy and artificial intelligence were studied, and a comparative analysis of existing standards was conducted. Materials from international scientific databases and peer-reviewed journals indexed by Scopus on the integration of artificial intelligence into the energy sector were used. Legal regimes were compared, regulatory gaps were identified, and recommendations for improving the sphere were given.
