ISSUES OF RETURN OF GOODS TO THE SELLER IN ELECTRONIC COMMERCE CONTRACTS

This article examines the specific characteristics of buyer return in e-commerce, examining in which cases the product must be returned and which types of goods are not subject to return. Issues regarding the improvement of return mechanisms for goods in digital commerce are also analyzed. The return process has been comparatively analyzed based on the experience of foreign countries, in particular China, the Russian Federation, the European Union, as well as Islamic law. The importance, conditions, and deadlines of the principle of promptness in returning goods have been studied in combination with the traditional and electronic environment. At the end of the article, proposals and recommendations were developed aimed at filling legal gaps in our national legislation, clarifying return deadlines, and eliminating existing problems in practice.
