Abstract

The article examines the provisions of Article 63 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Investments and Investment Activities" in the context of the theoretical foundations of international investment arbitration. It explores approaches to the multi-step dispute resolution process, including mandatory pre-trial stages and limited access to international arbitration. The critical analysis highlights inconsistencies between the national model and international standards, identifying risks to the country’s investment attractiveness. Recommendations for legislative optimization based on international practices are provided.
