Abstract

The article examines the legal status of microfinance organizations as participants in entrepreneurial activity in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The relevance of the study is determined by the rapid expansion of the microfinance sector, the digitalization of financial services, and the need to clearly distinguish the private-law and public-law elements of such organizations’ status. The purpose of the research is to identify their legal nature, market entry requirements, corporate structure, supervisory regime, and interaction with consumers. The study relies on doctrinal legal analysis, comparative legal method, and institutional approach. It is concluded that the current model combines entrepreneurial autonomy with special legal capacity and enhanced regulatory discipline. The findings may be applied in lawmaking, legal practice, and further research on financial market regulation.
