LEGAL ASPECTS OF USE AND PROTECTION OF RESORT LANDS

This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of the legal protection of lands of resort areas. The author highlights the place of resort lands in the system of specially protected natural areas and their importance in the conservation of natural healing resources. Based on the current constitutional and environmental legislation, the legal regime of resort lands, the need to restrict their use, and issues of ensuring environmental sustainability were considered. Also, the zoning of territories, permitted and prohibited types of activities, as well as mechanisms for preventing land degradation and pollution, were analyzed. The gaps in legislation were indicated, and proposals were made to strengthen control and introduce special environmental and urban planning requirements.
