The digital era has brought unprecedented challenges to intellectual property (IP) law, necessitating a reevaluation of traditional legal frameworks. This article examines the key legal issues arising from the intersection of IP law and digital technologies, focusing on copyright, patents, and trademarks in the online environment. Through a comprehensive analysis of recent case law, scholarly opinions, and empirical data, we identify the main areas of contention and propose potential solutions for adapting IP law to the digital landscape. Our findings suggest that while existing IP laws provide a foundation for protecting digital assets, significant reforms are needed to address the unique challenges posed by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things. We conclude by offering a set of recommendations for policymakers and legislators to consider in shaping the future of IP law in the digital age.
